

Racing is optional and many of our members train and don't race with us, but racing is fun and it's a good motivator during the off-season from normal triathlon racing. There are separate categories for rookies and vets. Rookies are athletes who have never competed in triathlons before. The idea is that new triathletes can race without feeling intimidated by racing with the vets. That said, if you are a rookie but want to race in the vet category, you are welcome to do so
